I drawed this poster for my friends Paul and George. Their play LITHUANIAN SWEETHEART premieres in Washington DC next month. In fact, Paul will be performing the whole trilogy of plays he and George created in DC next month. I highly recommend you go. I’ll post more about it as the dates near.
My dear friend Shelly, a crazy good graphic designer, (usually a crazy good interior designer by day) added the type and stuff.
The characters seem to be floating, or hanging from the subway straps in the bigger image, which wasn’t intended, but I think I like it better than what was intended, so there you go.
It’s an alright image. I’m not especially adventurous with color. I was thinking last night…a khaki green on the ghosts would’ve might’ve been alright.
